|The Town of Rocky Ridge module extends your High Sierra layout four more feet to the left, creating a layout eight feet wide by two and half feet deep (see Suggested Track Plans). Rocky Ridge adds another four feet of mainline operation and five more sidings for small industries. The Town of Rocky Ridge layout is molded of durable, rigid, high-impact, hard-shell polystyrene, making it light and rugged. It is designed for Atlas Snap Track but can be used with other types of track with some modifications. The ravine can be spanned with your choice of Walthers timber trestle kit or the Kato Unitrack truss bridge. Building the Town of Rocky Ridge is simple. All the hills, grades, mountains, roads, ponds and streams are molded into the surface, eliminating the need for wood framing, screen wire, messy plaster and water. Track is glued to the layout surface with any glue suitable for styrene models. Detailed step-by-step instructions and a complete materials list are included with each kit. Model railroaders with experience in handling Atlas track can assemble the Town of Rocky Ridge in about two to three hours of total working time.
